Pedal Coffee at Old World Deli

Whoa, it has been way too long since we last posted here! We’ve been super busy working at Onyx Coffee Bar and developing the catering end for Pedal Coffee, which we will post more info about here on the site soon.

In January Drew and I were at the Bellingham Wedding Expo, wearing tuxedos and pouring with the nine-hole V60 bar; maybe you were there or saw the picture of us in the Bellingham Herald.

This Sunday, March 6th, Pedal Coffee will be at the Old World Deli (1228 N State St.) serving up pour-over coffee for their first annual Wine and Food Gala event, from 3-5:30pm. We’ll post photos from the event, and stay tuned for a link to catering info here on the site in the near future.

Onyx Coffee Bar- Week One

Thanks to all who came in and said hello last week and today! The Onyx Coffee Bar will not be open this Thurs. 12/9 and Fri. 12/10 but we will continue to be open Wed.- Sat., 10am-6pm starting next week on Wed. 12/15.

Here are some photos from our first day: brewing up some excellent Guatemalan coffees (Finca de Dios, Margaritas, Trinidad) provided and roasted by Edwin Martinez, and outstandingly aromatic Ethiopian Beloya and Aricha varietals from Ninety-Plus Coffees.

We are currently tasting and giving out samples of tasty treats from Breadfarm, in Edison, WA. Don’t hesitate to come in and give us some feedback about which ones you liked the best!

We are super excited to be opening the doors tomorrow, Dec. 1st from 10am-6pm!

We’ll be giving away espresso and pour-over coffee with some treats from our neighbors around the corner at Pure Bliss Desserts, so don’t hesitate to stop by.

(Yes, we are still getting a bar installed and our seating figured out, but here’s a look at our current bar setup.)

Pedal at Coffee Fest, Seattle
